Testbirds provides testing services with users from all over the world - Crowdtesting, to some of the biggest companies in Germany. My involvement spans over multiple core apps and services.
A component based approach
Updated the main flows of our core app and redesigned parts of the interface.
With an existing application one must have a good strategy to not intrerupt the day-to-day business. My approach is to tackle encapsulated functionalities and break them in manageable pieces with the developers.
Component styleguide
Inconsistent use of visual elements was eliminated by creating a React style guide together with my teammates
A foundation of basic styles, colors and components are recommended to establish consistency, and add overtime more components when need it.

When you have a system in place it is easier to iterate over business ideas
We tried new ideas to see if they make sense from a business point of view.

Sketches to prototypes
From sketches to high-fidelity prototypes
I believe sketches on paper can be a good starting point and go directly to high fidelity prototypes once you have a design system in place

Based on google analytics we tried to cover the most used device resolutions.

We used different methods to test the product with users. The one that I used almost daily is hotjar.
